I’ve first come upon the “Crash Course” a few years ago, but I cannot stress how important and insightful these two particular chapters continue to be. They are videos about 7 minute in length, and are highly recommended watching. No matter what your understanding of economics is, I highy recommend watching these.

Most importantly, even though these are about the US, 95% of the content applies to every single OECD country (and even most countries outside of OECD).
